A letter from the owner…
Our Dear Community,
After 53 years in wonderful Downtown Farmington our building has been sold but Focal Point will continue on!
In 1973, my late husband, Jerry, discovered that Farmington was the perfect place for a photography studio.
We grew from a small space just across Farmington Rd. into this building that we renovated in 1986.
This location has brought us close to so many families. We have captured many special moments from newborns, graduations, weddings, & more. Three generations of families have walked through these doors.
I am taking this opportunity to retire at the end of this year & enjoy my 5 adorable grandchildren!
I will miss every moment I have spent with each client & with my staff that I call family.
Happily, our story does not end here. Our long time, talented photographers will continue on at our Plymouth location through November 25th & can be contacted through our website for years to come.

Important Dates
April 17th
The last day to place your portrait order. Our in-house lab will be closing on May 15th.
May 9th
The last day we will book in-studio appointments at our Farmington studio.
May 12th
Our staff is moving over to our current Plymouth location for all sessions until November 25th.
May 15th
The last day to pick-up any previously placed portrait orders from our studio.
November 27th & on…
Our longtime photographers will carry on the Focal Point legacy! They will continue to offer high school seniors, families, babies, & corporate/career photography at your home, office, outdoors, or location of your choice.

Will you still be doing Senior Pictures?
Yes! Some of our longtime photographers will be photographing outdoors from May - October at most of our same locations. Sessions & pricing coming soon.
Can you still photograph a headshot for the yearbook?
Yes, we will continue to provide a FREE yearbook headshot when you book any outdoor or on-location session. You can also book our Yearbook Headshot Package for $99 which includes:
A Yearbook Headshot Session at our Plymouth location
1 retouched high resolution digital image of your favorite yearbook pose.
Note: You must email this image directly to our yearbook department.
You can also print your own portraits from it. (Copyright release)

Will I still be able to order prints after May 15th?
Our packages will be transitioning to fully digital for this summer! You will receive the rights to your images so that you can print your own portraits!
What will happen to my photos?
Your photos will be archived. Good news is, you have the option to purchase ALL of your digital images from your past sessions for only $99 per session! Your session must have been between the years of 2024 - 2024 with an original post order of $298+.
