Honoring Jerzy Jakacki

This Veterans Day, we’re featuring and celebrating our founder of Focal Point and U.S. Army veteran, Jerzy Jakacki. He proudly served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam Era, earning the Bronze Star, among other deserving decorations. In 1973, he co-founded Focal Point Studio of Photography with the vision that it would someday be home to many of Michigan’s finest photographers.

In September, he was honored with a banner right in front of our Farmington studio. We appreciate the City of Farmington for honoring our local veterans!
